PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for preventing safety accident of workers and reducing manpower required in converter operation by simply and automatically supplying dart to a dart machine by mechanical operation so that the dart machine throws the dart into a converter by mechanical operation. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for supplying darts(3) to the dart machine so that the dart is mounted on a clamp of a dart machine for throwing the dart into a converter, the apparatus(1) comprises a base(10) installed on the ground in the vicinity of the dart machine; a lower cylinder(15) mounted on the upper surface of the base so that a front portion of rod of the lower cylinder is connected to a vertical stand(21) that is reciprocatingly assembled into a guider(12) of the base; a liftable and lowerable cylinder vertically disposed in an inner space of the vertical stand to lift and lower an upper beam(25) mounted on a front portion of rod of the liftable and lowerable cylinder; an upper cylinder(30) assembled into the upper beam in such a way that the upper cylinder is movable forward and backward and horizontally disposed in the upper beam so that a front portion of rod of the upper cylinder is connected to an operation arm(35), wherein a catching projection(36) on which the dart is put is mounted on a front portion of the operation arm; and a sensor part(40) for sensing horizontal moving distance of the operation arm of the vertical stand and a vertical moving distance of the upper beam.
