TWO-LCD CHARACTER INPUT SYSTEM FOR A CELLULAR PHONE USING A CHARACTER GRAPHIC PLATE, SPECIALLY IN CONNECTION WITH USING A KOREAN GRAPHIC PLATE AND A CHINESE GRAPHIC PLATE TO EASILY INPUT CHARACTERS

摘要

PURPOSE: A two-LCD character input system for a cellular phone using a character graphic plate is provided to recognize characters in graphics by removing a combination of consonants and vowels when inputting the characters on a cellular phone, and to input letters and symbols, so that a user can easily input characters. CONSTITUTION: An LCD plate is installed in a position where a button substrate of a cellular phone is located, by removing the button substrate. Specially manufactured character graphic plates are installed on top of the LCD plate. The LCD plate consists of two super-optical films such as a top plate and a bottom plate. Contents written by a pen or fingers on the character graphic plates are displayed by passing through an analog/digital converter and operating absolute coordinates values on the LCD plate.
