PURPOSE: A method for reporting a failure in real time while taking measures for the failure in a BTS(Base station Transceiver System) is provided to decide whether a failure is generated by analyzing statistics, and to report a cause of the failure and measures for the failure to a BSM(Base Station Manager) in real time, so that an operator can perceive each BS failure in real time. CONSTITUTION: Whenever call failures are generated in a BS, a call handling processor of the BS prepares for statistics according to a kind of each call failure. If a certain kind of a call failure is generated at more than a predetermined value, a statistic processor of the BS retrieves a take-measure table. The statistic processor collects BS and call processing information with retrieved take-measure information. The BS reports the collected data to a BSM. The BSM retrieves a self take-measure table based on the collected data. The BSM displays the BS and call processing information, the retrieved take-measure contents, and a warning message on an operator terminal.
