PURPOSE: A hammering apparatus for an upright piano is provided to enable continuous performance of the piano by using a first lever, a second lever, a jack, and a stop adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION: A hammering apparatus for an upright piano includes a center rail(100), a first lever(310), a second lever(320), a jack(330), a stop rode, a stop adjusting screw, a jack spring, and a hitting member(400). The center rail(100) is installed vertically to a string in a longitudinal direction. The first lever is rotatably coupled with the center rail(100). The second lever is rotatably coupled with a flange and has an opening hole. A jack is rotatably coupled with the end of the first lever. The stop rode is installed on the center rail and limits the rotation range of the second lever.
