PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for automatically performing a series of processes of supplying a platinum wire, holding the platinum wire, spirally coiling the platinum wire and cutting the coiled platinum wire to manufacture coil for gas sensor, thereby maximizing productivity and workability. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing apparatus of coil for gas sensor comprises: a tailstock means(10) in which a moving stand(12) comprising a holding part(20) for holding a platinum wire supplied from a coiling roll(11) and a guiding part(25) for guiding the platinum wire to a certain position is installed such that the moving stand is moved forward and backward along a ball screw(13) by a control motor(M1); and a spindle means(30) for spirally winding the platinum wire on the outer circumference of the pin as rotating a spindle part(31) by a control motor(M2), the spindle motor comprising a pin operation part(40) for operating a pin installed around rotation of a spindle(32) in front of the tailstock means such that the pin appears and disappears in front of a nozzle at a front part of the spindle, and a grip part(45) for holding the platinum wire fed into the nozzle such that the platinum wire is parallel to the pin; and a cutting means moved back and forth and side to side in a space between the tailstock means and the spindle means to cut the platinum wire.
