PURPOSE: To provide an anaerobic treatment system for treating wastewater containing nitrogen and organic matter of high concentration, wherein the system is capable of completing wastewater treatment by anaerobic treatment by preventing deterioration of activity of anaerobic microorganisms due to ammonia nitrogen, thereby repeatedly carrying out effective anaerobic treatment. CONSTITUTION: An anaerobic treatment system for treating high concentration wastewater comprises: a first anaerobic reactor(1) for converting organic matter in wastewater into bio gas mainly containing methane gas and carbon dioxide and converting organic nitrogen in wastewater into ammonia nitrogen; an attached growth type aerobic reactor(2) for converting ammonia nitrogen contained in effluent of the first anaerobic reactor into nitrite-nitrogen and nitrate-nitrogen using aerobic microorganisms to reduce concentration of ammonia nitrogen; and a second anaerobic reactor(3) in which a reaction for converting nitrite-nitrogen and nitrate-nitrogen into nitrogen gas under the anaerobic conditions and a reaction of additionally removing organic matter are simultaneously performed, wherein wastewater is treated by sequentially passing wastewater through the aerobic reactor and the second anaerobic reactor after flowing wastewater into the first anaerobic reactor.
