HIGH-SEALABILITY METAL NOZZLE BOSS FOR COMPOSITE-MATERIAL HIGH PRESSURE VESSEL FOR PREVENTING GAS FROM BEING LEAKED FROM INTERFACE BETWEEN A PLASTIC LINER AND THE METAL NOZZLE BOSS INSERTED INTO THE LINER OF THE COMPOSITE-MATERIAL HIGH PRESSURE VESSEL
PURPOSE: A high-sealability metal nozzle boss of composite-material high pressure vessel is provided to restrict leakage of fine gas from an interface of the metal nozzle boss and a plastic liner, while using the metal nozzle boss for many hours, by applying the metal nozzle boss with improved sealability to the vessel and to keep sufficient airtightness even for repeated fatigue load. CONSTITUTION: A high-sealability metal nozzle boss combined with a plastic liner(2) of a composite-material high pressure vessel is composed of through-holes(7) formed at upper and lower sides; a cylindrical nozzle head unit(6) arranged at the upper inner periphery and formed with a screw unit(8); a disc-shaped nozzle blade unit(9) formed at the lower outer periphery of the nozzle head unit; an upper inclined surface formed at the tip upside of the nozzle blade unit; a lower inclined surface formed in the tip lower side; a sealing mounting unit(13) recessed in the bottom side of a stripe-shaped inclined plane support projection(16) protruded upward multi-stages around the outer periphery of the nozzle boss under the lower inclined surface; a closing unit(12) extending toward the lower side of the sealing mounting unit and having a clamping screw unit(15) at the lower end of the outer periphery and a clamping unit(14) interposed between the upper end of the clamping screw unit and the sealing mounting unit and formed in same diameter with gullies of the clamping screw unit; a pipe-shaped clamp(17) comprising a screw formed on the inner periphery and combined to the clamping screw unit of the clamping unit and a sealing mounting groove recessed at the inner peripheral upside and positioned in a boundary where the metal nozzle boss and the plastic liner contact to each other; and a sealing(24) of which one side is contacted to the bottom side of the inclined plane support projection and the sealing mounting unit of the nozzle boss, the other side is contacted to the plastic liner, and the lower end is placed in the sealing mounting groove of the clamp.
