PURPOSE: A method for preparing an acryl-based impact reinforcing agent and a PVC composition containing the impact reinforcing agent prepared by the method are provided, to improve the heat stability and the dynamic stability of PVC. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of polymerizing a seed, a core rubber layer and a shell, respectively and three times; mixing the polymerized latex with an emulsifier such as a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid salt and agglomerating the mixture by using a water-soluble salt having a two or three valent cation to prepare dry powdered acryl-based impact reinforcing agent. The seed and the core rubber layer comprise 70-95 wt% of an alkyl acrylate. The PVC composition comprises 80-99 wt% of a poly(vinyl chloride) resin; and 1-20 wt% of the impact reinforcing agent prepared by the method.
