Method for Manufacturing of Fire-Goods Utilized with Sea Clay

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing refractories such as bricks, paving blocks and tiles having porosity, lightweight and colors by using sea clay. CONSTITUTION: The refractories using sea clay by the seashore are manufactured by the conventional processes excluding grinding of raw materials(clay), that is, weighing, mixing, forming, drying and sintering at 800-1300deg.C. The raw materials(sea clay), having specific gravity of 2.61-2.71 and chlorine content of 0.2-0.3%, comprise 85-95wt.% of clay and 1-5wt.% of organics containing seaweed components. The refractories have pores and lightweight after sintering due to burning of organics in sea clay.
