Re-gold leafing and re-painting method of Buddhist statue

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for gold plating and replacing of a Buddhist statue which is conducted in a shorten period of time at a reduced coast and improves 3-dimensional feeling and the feeling of movement. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the base coloring step of applying a white paint 2-3 times on the surface of a Buddhist statue; the cloth step of attaching a cloth (hemp cloth, gauge) on the colored part using an adhesive; the raising step of drawing a draft of a pattern and priming the draft using a composition of gold powder, glue and bond; the coloring step of coloring the pattern; the lacquer step of applying a lacquer 3-5 times on the colored surface; and the gold plating step of taking a part of gold from the lacquer.
