METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF POSTOPERATIONAL VENTRAL HERNIAS

FIELD: medicine, surgery.;SUBSTANCE: one should dissect the skin and subcutaneous fiber, isolate and dissect hernial sac to open a hernial defect. Through this defect one should separate the fusions and mobilize the greater omentum followed by its fixing towards parietal peritoneum along the contour of hernial defect at 4-5 cm against its edge. Above omentum it is necessary to apply an implant and fix it with interrupted sutures to parietal peritoneum and muscles of abdominal wall. Before layer-by-layer suturing the operational wound one should suture the edges of hernial defect. The method avoids implant's infectioning, decreases the chance for liquid masses in implant's area, prevents the development of adhesive process between abdominal cavitary organs and an implant.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation.;2 dwg
