The invention may be used for lathes. The apparatus operates as follows. When machining of the workpiece withdrawal produce signals from the sensors 4, 5, 9, 11. The signals 4, 5, 9 are shown in (Fig. 2), and the signal from the sensor 11 (Fig. 3). The computer signals are processed by methods of mathematical statistics, the calculation is performed and the construction of the on-screen display virtual components used to calculate the expected manufacturing error: deviation from the circularity (roundness), oval, size error, error in the longitudinal section of the profile, the deviation from the cylindricity and others. The computer then compares the calculated error with indicators of accuracy that are available on your drawing manufactured parts. If it appears that the expected error fit within the accuracy of said drawing the working parts, the parts processing continues. If it turns out that the expected error beyond the accuracy specified in the drawing, the computer sends an instruction on how to connect «Profi» program. The program «Profi» performs calculations to determine the optimum cutting conditions and issues a command to the controller 13 of the machine, which makes the adjustment of control programs. After moving to the new processing mode is switched on again the measurement system, and the process is repeated as long as the expected error will not fit into the precision requirements at the working drawing.
