The tool is designed as a handle with an extension screwed to its lower end and used for guiding water or air to the area to be treated by the dental surgeon. The shape of the standard extension is not suitable for as precise a guiding as required in many cases. The outer surface of the new design of an extension is of a conical shape facilitating the joining of a standard tube of a suitable size as used in other medical areas.
