The device for the filling of a container with a fluid or paste material has a filling valve (16) to which is connected an outlet connecting valve (10) to deliver material under pressure into the container via the filling valve. The outlet valve has an outlet nozzle (12) which can be closed by a valve component (26) through spring (46) action. The outlet valve forms a plunger valve (22) with a valve component constructed as a cylinder piston and an outlet nozzle as a cylinder bore (24).
