A first pole (110) has a locking part (128) next to a grip (132), for connection to a second pole (112) or a counter locking device (136,138) on that stick. The first locking part has a holder for a shaft (122) of the second pole, or for a projection (144) on the counter locking device, which is locked in the holder. The holder is formed by an opening (140) in a part of the first pole consisting of pref. elastic material. The first locking device has a magnet device, which engages with a counter magnet device or a counter element of ferromagnetic material.
