The pin wheel gear has one gearwheel with cycloidal toothing and which in the straight toothed form is provided with a symmetrical or asymmetrical ground recess. Rotatably mounted pins are installed on the circumferential face of the other gearwheel (10). These pins roll on the gearwheel in a recognized manner and are fitted in an annular slot in sealed, lifetime lubricated rolling or plain bearings. The pin and the bearing are fitted in the cheeks of the slot to correspond to the bevel toothing of the other gearwheel.
