The holding-down device is for a processing tool, for temporary holding of a component (9) on a holder (7). The device has at least one mold slide (10) and a pre-tensioned gas pressure spring to load the slide. The slide is held moveable in a housing, which fastens it to a processing tool (3). A rocker arm is located between slide and gas spring. The tool consists of one or more beading/ flanging jaws (3), and the holder is a beading/flanging bed (7).
