The device (1) has a route (35) connected between the discharge side (DS) of a pressure source (26) and electric motor (M) of the pressure source for removing leaks. The route is connectable to the suction side (SS) of the pressure source. Hydraulic routes (33,34) branch from between the solenoid valves (12,13) which open when no electricity is supplied to the discharge side of the pressure source. The solenoid valves are arranged in the hydraulic pressure connection portion between the discharge side of the pressure source and master cylinder (4). The master cylinder has brake pipe paths (5,6) that are linked to the wheel brake units (7-10) of the brake circuits (I,II) through the solenoid valves. The pressure source is included in a control unit provided for regulating the brake slip, traction slip and driving dynamics.
