Method for investigating disturbing noises in motor vehicles in which disturbing noise generated in the passenger space of a vehicle is recorded using a receiver and transferred to an analysis device for evaluation. The examination is interrupted if additional interference or disturbance noise originating from outside the passenger space occurs.
