Projector has image forming elements (1-3) energizable in pixel mode and wide angle projection optics, which images at least section of flat, image forming surface (4) of element into spherically bent image surface. Image of above mentioned section on spherical image surface fills 120 degrees of spatial angle in every direction. There is also beam splitter imaging at least section of image forming surface of each element on image surface. Independent claims are included for perimeter and projector use.
