A turbine blade drive unit comprises compressor (2), combustion unit (3), turbine (4) and a mixer (5) in which hot exhaust gases (8) from the turbine are mixed with secondary air through a mixer nozzle. The mixer nozzle has a chevron form out of which the hot exhaust gases flow at subsonic velocities.
