The first sealing strip (3) is mounted on the metal frame of the door (1). It has a U-shaped groove (6) with a tongue (7) and a toothed surface (15) holding the toothed stem of a T-shaped second sealing strip (4). A projecting lip (17) on the second sealing strip engages with a metal contact surface (11) on the bodywork (2). The first sealing strip has a hollow portion (9) which contacts the bodywork and is deformed when the door is closed.
