PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new enone reductase useful for producing a ketone useful as a medicinal raw material and the like.;SOLUTION: A new enone reductase derived from Kluyveromyces is provided. The invention also provides a gene encoding the enzyme, a vector containing the enzyme and a transformant. Furthermore, the invention provides an enone reductase derived from yeast.
