The method involves mounting guiding parts (10) on a fixed carriage (12), and mounting a rail on the carriage to engage a wing (22) between rollers. The guiding parts are driven around a fixation point (14) in such a way that the rollers are in support against respective opposite surfaces of the wing. The parts (10) are locked with respect to the carriage to maintain the rail with respect to the carriage. An independent claim is also included for a guiding assembly of a mobile console in an automobile vehicle.
