The changing unit has a support (28) presenting a direction changing zone for a shoulder belt. A base part (30) guides the support between a lower rest position and an upper position in which the zone is situated above a line of a body shell. A driving mechanism exerts movement relative to the base part. A collision sensor (60) activates a control unit such that the mechanism moves the support from the rest to upper position.
