The clutch has an electromagnetic coil coupling a rotor (10) to an armature plate (20), and a leaf spring (40`) with an inclined part (40a) forming an obtuse angle with plate rotation direction. Compression force acting on the spring presses the plate against the rotor. The spring has one part (45a) extending between a coupling part (41a) and the part (40a), and a part (45b) between a coupling part (41b) and the part (40a). The compression force acts on the spring when the rotational force of the rotor is transmitted to the plate.
