The method involves entropy decoding a data encoded according to a format using a decoder to obtain quantified coefficients. A quantization table compatible with a JPEG format is obtained according to a quantization step related to the data encoded according to the former format. The quantified coefficients are encoded into data that is encoded according to the JPEG format. The table is inscribed in data encoded based on JPEG format.
