PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer for quickly and correctly discriminating male or female of cattle by using a cattle embryo.;SOLUTION: The present invention provides a primer consisting of an oligonucleotide specifically hybridizable with a target nucleic acid of the male-specific base sequence by using a cell for sex discrimination collected from a cattle embryo as a test material, an amplification method using the primer, a method for discriminating cattle sex by detecting the amplification of the male-specific base sequence of the cell for sex discrimination collected from the cattle embryo and a sex discrimination reagent kit using the cattle embryo.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
