FLOOR SLAB REINFORCING DEVICE AND FLOOR SLAB REINFORCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor slab reinforcing device which is excellent in workability in the field, and facilitates adjustment of force for bearing a floor slab.;SOLUTION: The floor slab reinforcing device functions to reinforce the floor slab 4 from below against a load, e.g. a downward imposed load, applied to the floor slab 4 laid between lower structures such as beams 3, and is comprised of a bearing member 12 arranged between the beams 3, 3, and jacks 13 for bearing the floor slab 4 and transmitting the load to the bearing member 12. By virtue of the floor slab reinforcing device, the downward imposed load, particularly a load by vibration, applied to the floor slab 4, is borne by the jacks 13, and the span of the floor slab 4 is shortened, which brings about reinforcement of the floor slab 4, and particularly suppression of vibration. Further by virtue of a jacking-up function, the floor slab 4 is prestressed, and therefore vibration is suppressed. Furthermore the jacks 13 are used as they are, and therefore shortage of prestressing caused by relaxation of members or change in operating load are easily adjustable at any time by the jacks 13, which leads to easy maintenance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
