PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To designate an allocation of a Braille character stamping region in a width direction of a tape as a Braille character stamping medium.;SOLUTION: In a method of controlling stamping a Braille character stamping device for stamping a Braille character B on a tape T conveyed along a tape running path 70 by using a stamping unit 80, the Braille characters B are stamped in the region closer to upper or lower side in the width direction of the tape T while maintaining the vertical direction of the arrangement of the Braille characters.
