BELT REPLACING TOOL FOR ENGINE, BELT TENSIONER, AND BELT REPLACING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the working easiness in replacing a belt by arranging so that a belt replacing tool can be mounted simply on a swing arm of a belt tensioner.;SOLUTION: As a hitching part, two recesses 44 and 45 are formed in a rotation output part 42 of the belt replacing jig 33, while two projections 34 and 35 are provided on the swing arm 27 of the belt tensioner 26 as a part to be hitched. When the belt 25 is slackened to be put off from pulleys 21-24, an extension handle 46 is coupled with the rotation input part 41 of the jig 33, and the recesses 44 and 45 are hitched at the respective projections 34 and 35 which are mating. If a force F is applied to the extension handle 46 and the jig 33 is turned in the condition that the jig 33 is mounted on the arm 27, the rotation is transmitted to the arm 27 through the recesses 44 and 45 and the projections 34 and 35, and the belt 25 is slackened while the arm 27 is swung oppositely to the direction of being energized by an energizing mechanism (counterclockwise).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
