PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil which can achieve both a mist property and a floated mist-preventing property in high levels in a good balance and can sufficiently ensure a quantity of the oil reaching a processing site, when the minimum quantity lubrication type cutting/grinding processing is performed. PSOLUTION: This oil composition for minimum quantity lubrication type cutting/grinding processing comprises an ester oil having a dynamic viscosity of 0.5 to 20 mmSP2/SP/s at 100C and an ester-based polymer having a dynamic viscosity of 20 mmSP2/SP/s at 100C and an average mol. wt. of 5,000 to 10,000,000.
