DEODORIZER, AND DEODORIZING EQUIPMENT USING THE DEODORIZER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer capable of absorbing and removing odor generated in living space by an absorbent, converting more harmful acetaldehyde into less harmful acetic acid, and absorbing and removing by the absorbent. PSOLUTION: The deodorizer 1 is composed of an absorbent 4 having physical absorption function, an oxide 5 having catalytic function including transition elements, and a carrier 3 carrying the physical absorbent 4 and the catalytic oxide 5, and the catalytic oxide 5 converts aldehydes into carbonic acids and then the physical absorbent 4 absorbs and removes them, and the physical absorbent 4 absorbs and removes odor generated in living space, converts more harmful acetaldehyde into less harmful acetic acid at room temperature by catalytic function of the catalytic oxide 5 including transition elements, and the absorbent absorbs and removes it.
