PSOLUTION: A cellular phone 2 to be a communication apparatus is provided with a radio LAN communication part 25 for transmitting/receiving data by a radio LAN communications system; a public line communication part 26 for transmitting/receiving data by a public line communications system such as WCDMA; a switching part for switching these communication parts 25, 26; an application execution part for starting a plurality of application software pieces for transmitting/receiving similar data by the communication parts 25, 26; and an application switching part for switching these application software pieces to be started by the application execution part, in response to the switching operation of the switching part.
