PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated carbon fiber unit for desulfurization catalyst having high desulfurization activity, high recovering ratio of sulfuric acid to an amount of used water and a long service life, and a desulfurization apparatus using it.;SOLUTION: This activated carbon fiber unit for desulfurization is formed of a lot of flow passages formed between activated carbon fiber sheets by laminating the multiple activated carbon fiber sheets of two kinds of forms. The objective activated carbon fiber unit for desulfurization is composed by tilting the flow passages in relation to the vertical direction. The objective desulfurization apparatus is composed by using the activated carbon fiber unit for desulfurization with the flow passages tilted in relation to the vertical direction as a catalyst tank.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
