PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently design a program under the type or definition of a standardized operation and source, and to improve the quality of a program by easily and surely taking the synchronization of design objects only by one changing work.;SOLUTION: The design management system 10 of a program is provided with a file server 12 for storing an entity file necessary for program design and a plurality of design terminals 14 connected to the file server 12. The file server 12 is provided with a repository 16 for storing meta data for storing configuration information of all entity files related with the program. The design terminal 14 reads the meta data from the repository 16, and adds a design operation to the meta data, and the contents of the design operation including entity data which have to be changed by the design work, that is, the entity data which are used by a design terminal in charge of the other design stage are reflected on single or a plurality of the entity files which have to be changed by the design work through the meta data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
