PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave attenuation calculation system capable of analyzing the rate of influence caused by a rainfall and also analyzing the attenuation of the radio wave of the satellitebroadcasting by the rainfall changing with time.;SOLUTION: The radio wave attenuation calculation device 3 is equipped with: a slant path length calculation means 31 for calculating the slant path which is the space length of a rainfall area on the propagation path of the radio wave on the basis of the positional data representing the positions of the satellite transmitting the radio wave of the satellite broadcasting and a receiving station on the ground receiving the radio wave of the same; an intensity of the rainfall calculation means 33 for calculating the time sequential value of the intensity of the rainfall per unit time; and an attenuation calculation means 34 for calculating the time sequential value of the attenuation value of the radio wave by the rain fall of the propagation path caused by the rainfall per prescribed time obtained by integrating the time sequential value of the intensity of the rainfall per unit time based on the time sequential value of the slant path length and rainfall intensity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
