PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out production of clothing having good yield and uniform twill while preventing occurrence of excess cloth, in the production of clothing in which pattern of cloth is arranged at a prescribed position of twill weave cloth.;SOLUTION: The method for producing clothing comprises arranging a pattern 4 of cloth 1 at a prescribed position of twill weave cloth. In the production method, the pattern 4 is woven into the cloth in the longitudinal direction of the cloth 1 at a prescribed position toward the center in the width direction of the cloth 1 on the basis of both selvedges 2 and 3 to weave the cloth 1 and the cloth 1 is reversed and prescribed pattern cloth 2A of the front section and prescribed pattern cloth 3A of the back body are successively cut off in the longitudinal direction toward the central part of the width of the cloth 1 by using both selvedges as the base end parts 2 and 3 and the pattern cloth 2A of the front section and the pattern cloth 3A of the back body are woven in reversed state to uniformly arrange twill and the rear side of the cloth 1 is sewn as the surface side of clothing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
