PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel valley roof tile laid in a valley part formed by crossing two pitch roofs laid by roof tiles; a novel roof structure of the valley part for supporting its valley roof tile; and a roof having a structure for horizontally continuously visually confirming the roof tiles laid on the same stage on the two pitch roofs when laying the valley roof tile in the valley part.;SOLUTION: A gutter-shaped member 24 is laid toward a ridge part from an eaves edge part in the valley part 4 formed by crossing the two pitch roofs 2 and 3 laid by the roof tiles 1. Among the roof tiles, an obliquely cut-off end surface part 61 of an obliquely cut-off roof tile 6 facing the valley part is brought on the gutter-shaped member, and rainwater fallen on the roof tiles is made to flow down by the gutter-shaped member. The obliquely cut-off end surface part of the obliquely cut-off roof tile is hidden by its valley roof tile by laying the ceramic valley roof tile 10 having the tip 13 projecting outward in a substantially inverse V shape and having the rear end 14 having a chevron-like plane recessed inward by forming a substantially inverse V shape, above the gutter-shaped member in the valley part via a support means 26.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
