PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament in which a light emitting element is lighted when it is worn on the body and the light emitting element is put out when it is removed from the body without the need of a movable component as a switch.;SOLUTION: A ring 10 as the ornament has a ring body 12 as an ornament body. In the ring ornament part 14 of the ring body 12, a ring part 16 is provided on the rear surface side and electrodes 18a and 18b are provided at an interval on the rear surface. The electrodes 18a and 18b are provided so as to be in contact with a finger by fitting the ring part 16 to the finger. Inside the ring ornament part 14, a light emitting diode 20, a secondary battery 22 and a MOS field effect transistor 24, etc., are provided. By the electrodes 18a and 18b being in contact with the finger, the MOS field effect transistor 24 is turned to an ON state and the secondary battery 22 supplies power to the light emitting diode 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
