When it is not included in RAKE processing, is new, or the additional multiple pass component becoming available in the channel, it regards method and the system which are decided. According to several execution forms, this invention using interference estimator concerning all RAKE fingers which it is related to the multiple pass component which is in the midst of pursuing, decides the portion of the available signal energy which is captured by the pass searcher at present time. When portion of the available electric power which is captured by the pass which is in the midst of pursuing is less than specified threshold, this invention, starting the pass searcher, makes the additional multiple pass component search.
