Rooftop greening method for buildings and roof structures

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for greening a rooftop of a building, capable of being applied to the existing building without requiring the full strength of the building, by which an excellent greened state can be kept for many years, and to provide a rooftop structure. PSOLUTION: This method for greening a rooftop of a building enables to green the rooftops, verandas, decks, etc., of various kinds of constructions, and comprises laying a durable waterproof seat composed of a super-durable metal waterproof seat or the like, on the upper side of a rooftop material followed by spraying soil dressing for greening on the upper side of the laid durable waterproof seat to green the rooftop. The soil dressing for greening is sprayed on the upper side of the rooftop material via a water-permeable layer comprising a lightweight soil dressing-maintaining material, a water- permeable member and the like.
