PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a prescribed data string from a modulated digital signal even when the strength of noise is very high.;SOLUTION: The digital signal detector of this invention is provided with a conversion section, a data configuration section and a discrimination section. The conversion section uses different discrimination conditions to convert a modulation signal into a plurality of digital data. The data configuration section combines prescribed data in a plurality of the digital data in a way that phases at data discrimination are rotated according to the time series to configure a plurality of comparison data strings. Thus, the comparison data strings respectively have a prescribed frequency difference to the respective reference signals. Then a plurality of the discrimination sections compares a plurality of the comparison data strings with expected data strings. As a result, the prescribed data strings are simultaneously detected by using a plurality of frequency differences so as to decrease the detection time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
