PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometrics authentication system capable of performing an authentication processing even by different authenticating means or authenticating system, and to provide a biometrics authentication gateway to be used for the system and a method for distributing biometrics authentication information. PSOLUTION: This biometrics authentication system is provided with: biometrics authentication servers 14A and 14B for authenticating biometrics authentication information; and a biometrics authentication gateway 16 having a transmission information processing part which receives the biometrics authentication information whose authentication is requested, adetermines the biometrics authentication servers 14A and 14B capable of performing the authentication processing among the biometrics authentication servers 14A and 14B based on the attributes of the biometrics authentication information, and allows the determined biometrics authentication servers 14A and 14B to transmit the biometrics authentication information by the transmitting/receiving part.
