PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatic musical symbol determination, based upon music data, which can automatically determine a proper variation mark needed for musical score display and musical score printing.;SOLUTION: An automatic musical symbol determination part 1 inputs at least part of music data stored in a music data storage part 2, performs the automatic determination and manual determination of a key signature by the change mark, the automatic determination of a chord name after transposition, and the automatic determination of an accidental mark, and outputs the result to the music data storage part 2. At this time, the original music data are either left or rewritten. A musical score display control part 3 reads the music data out of the music data storage part 2 and make a display unit, etc., display a musical score.
