The screen (1) is for the bottom of a water course, is aimed at preventing siltation and has a horizontal elongated wall part (2) connected at both ends with two vertical elongated wall parts (3), which extend mostly into the water bed. The three wall parts are of one-piece construction each, integrally formed, preferably pre-stressed concrete or similar hardening material. Movement of the vertical wall parts in relation to the horizontal part is thereby prevented and a rigid construction of the bottom screen is achieved. The screen has a preferable length of 10 m, a wall thickness of 0.20m and a height of 5 m.
