The balloon whisk (1) comprises a hand grip (2), at one end of which is a whisk head (3) comprising several adjacently extending crossing and cooperatively working wire formations (4), forming a drip-shaped whisk part (5). The wire formation free ends (6) are at a short distance from each other corresponding to the distance between an insert hole (8) formed in one end (7) of the hand grip or fastening part (11) for the wire formation free ends. The insert hole is orientated close to an aperture (9) centrally arranged in the fastening part of the handgrip. The aperture works in conjunction with a plug (10) insertable in it and at the same time fixing the position of the free ends of the wire formations in the insert hole.
