The invention relates to the use of a novel support for solid-phase synthesis, immobilisation of organic and bio-organic molecules and the possible use thereof in the production of arrays and microarrays. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of polyamide polymers as solid supports, preferably aromatic polyamide polymers obtained by condensation of dianhydrides with diamines.
