UDP-glucuronyl transferase (BpUGT) derived from Bellis perennis; a gene coding for the same; and a transformant having the gene. Thus, glucuronylation of a flavonoid compound can be performed to thereby realize functional improvements for this compound, such as flavonoid compound stabilization, absorption increase, physiological activity control and active substance sustained-release. Further, through providing of the UDP-glucuronyl transferase (BpUGT) derived from Bellis perennis, gene coding for the same and transformant having the gene, there can be provided effective modification means applicable to metabolic engineering control, regulation of color or tone and stabilization of flower color development according to genetic engineering technique. In particular, there is provided an enzyme having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 and an enzyme coded for by the gene specified in SEQ ID NO: 2.
