MULTIPURPOSE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR OIL TANKERS AND CONTAINERS SAFETY AND MARINE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

This invention related to hydraulic system that is designed to safe ships, especially oil tankers and chemicals containers, against collisions; groundings; or sinking. Also it is used to safe marine environment and coasts against pollution with oil slicks and dissolved chemicals, The system consists mainly of control unit that work automatically or manually to move sum of blocks of special properties of strength and buoyancy force by a manner to make them easily to fold or tansverse. The blocks (1) are moving by the help of hydraulic arms (2). Also, rubbery balloons (4) of special properties are connected to the blocks (1), which are filling with compressed air automatically. The system overall can be considered as modified fenders and also as life jacket for ship moreover crew, passengers, and cargo. Also, it can be described as an external hull besides or instead of the more expensive double hull design. Finally, the blocks are used as combinded offshore bridges that can surround the attacked part (oil tank) of tanker using additional booms before the spreding oil slick reaches coasts. Simple desgn can be apply to small ships, barges, yachts, fishering boats, and ferry boats, ect.
